Very nice, untouched camouflaged gas mask canister, still retaining about 50% of its original brown and green camouflage paint.
Under the three layers of paint, you can still find the original factory finish, followed by a field-grey repaint and the later brown/green camouflage coating.
Both the canister and the gas mask are nicely dated 1944.
